Overview And Experience

Attorney Daniel C. Cummins is a native of Monroe, Louisiana. He graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 2008. While attending Mississippi College, Daniel was elected by his peers to serve as the student body president. He also received the American Jurisprudence Award for Trial Advocacy and Negotiations.

After law school, Daniel served in the U.S. Army JAG Corps for eight years. He was initially assigned to the First Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas were he was deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan. Daniel was subsequently stationed in Hawaii as a trial advocate, gaining valuable courtroom experience through the prosecution of federal crimes.

Daniel’s last assignment was as a Battalion Judge Advocate for a forward deployed Special Forces Battalion in Okinawa, Japan. Daniel is continuing his service, focusing his efforts primarily in family law. He has both the education and experience that you need when faced with these difficult issues. Daniel resides in Monroe, Louisiana with his two daughters.
